Interventional Procedures
Interventional pulmonology is rather new in the field of pulmonary medicine. This utilizes endoscopy and other tools in order to diagnose and treat various conditions in the lungs and chest. Interventional pulmonology procedures are the solution to avoiding more invasive surgery.
Procedures include but are not limited to:
Flexible bronchoscopy
EBUS – endobronchial ultrasound
Lung biopsy techniques
Airway stent
Navigational bronchoscopy
